I'm Howard Apsan, president and founder of Apsan Consulting, and I'm smiling because you took the time to visit our web-site to find out how we can help you. Apsan Consulting was established in 2001 to help clients address complex issues by providing independent expertise in our four core competencies:

From the time that I earned my Ph.D. at Columbia University, I have worked as a manager, executive or advisor to corporate, government, and not-for-profit entities throughout the United States and in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. I have also served as a professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, training a generation of environmental and organizational leaders.
Today, most of my time is committed to my executive responsibilities as University Director of Environmental, Health, Safety and Risk Management at The City University of New York, the third largest university system in the United States, with 24 colleges and professional schools serving more than 500,000 students, and to my students at Columbia University. Nevertheless, Apsan Consulting provides me with the vehicle to assemble an elite team of consultants to take on special projects for clients who can benefit from our experience and expertise.
